we have separation of church and state here, you can’t use the bible as a reason to pass a law.
I am for women’s rights. Especially the right to vote. Therefore, I propose that unborn women be allowed to vote for or against their planned abortion. Would they vote for their own death? Im becoming more aware of Obama’s careful wording but lack of conscience. I was happy to see McCain outraged in this instance.

Women who are pregnant shouldn’t have total control over their bodies for it is no loner simply the woman’s body but is shared with another human being. If a child is abused in a home, we don’t allow or justify that abuse saying “it’s in their private home they can do what they want.” Instead, the State steps in, takes that child away and the abusers are arrested and prosecuted. If you accept the latter, you can’t accept the former for all is harm done to a child, whether already born or not.
this issue is best left up to the individual. How can reps cry about wanting the gov to stay out of the way, and then want gov to mandate that abortion is illegal??

1st: the difference between choosing abortion and not choosing abortion is loss of an innocent life, but the difference between continuing the war and not is the death of a few American lives and: the loss of many Iraqui lives, the end of all stability of a country, terrorists gaining a haven in which they can safely conduct their affairs, etc, etc, etc

How can you be so passionate about a women not having rights to choose what’s best for her body and think the War that McCain, Bush and Palin want so desperately to continue ending innocent lives is any different. Anyhow, I wouldn’t have an abortion myself, however NO GOVERNMENT HAS THE RIGHT TO CONTROL WHAT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER PERSONS BODY …PERIOD. Hitler believed he was doing ‘research for the good of humanity as well’. Church and State are separate for a reason.
